Guests say

Dandy Lodge at Torrington offers a peaceful retreat with friendly owners and staff. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable accommodations, the on-site bistro serving delicious food, and the serene surroundings ideal for walking. The presence of wildlife adds to the charm. Minor issues with shower temperature control and TV reception were noted.

Guests consistently praised the cleanliness of the lodge, describing it as 'very clean' and 'spotless'. The attention to cleanliness is evident throughout the reviews.

The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and suitability for walkers, though it is noted to be a bit remote from built-up areas. The encounter with wildlife like red deer is a bonus for nature enthusiasts.

The lodge is described as comfortable, warm, and perfect for guests' needs. The only discomfort mentioned is the creaky floorboards from the apartment above.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped apartment and an on-site bistro. However, there are minor points regarding the hard-to-control shower and less-than-perfect TV reception.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.
