Fantastic accommodation in an ideal spot overlooking the estuary. Kingfishers Rest is superbly well appointed with everything you need. Very comfy bed, settees and seating to relax and unwind. Modern bathroom and kitchen.Wonderfully quiet with nature on your doorstep. Great walks to RSPB Hodbarrow and the beach both just a few minutes walk. Couple of dog friendly pubs, local shop and chippy. If you're considering a quiet, recharge definately consider this little nugget of a place.

The Kingfishers Rest is a lovely modernised cottage. Perfectly clean with every amenity to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. A super pack adds some treats that welcome you to your holiday.A spit away from a lovely beach, an excellent fish and chip shop, corner store and pleasant places to eat that are all in easy walking distance.This was a lucky find and we intend to return next year.

We love this property. We love its vicinity to the beach, estuary and local eating places. There are Beach cafes close by, pub serving food, Ski bar with water sports facilities, more than one place to get an ice cream, fish and chips and a local supermarket who supply most essentials. One thing you have to remember if you want to use the beach is that there is a lot of beach but the tide is intermittent so if you want to swim you have to check the tide times and plan accordingly.
