Upon entering the home, you are greeted by four spacious bedrooms on the ground floor, each adorned with kingsize beds for a restful night’s sleep. The two bathrooms on this level boast shower cubicles, and one even features a deep, inviting bath for a relaxing soak. The main living area is open-plan with a well-equipped kitchen area. As you move through the kitchen, you’ll find yourself in the dining area with a grand high-ceiling and several cosy sofas. At one end of this room, a TV invites relaxation. The utility room has a washing machine and a workspace with a desk. The second living area was once the stage of the church hall, which has hosted a few famous people in its time. This expansive room, filled with natural light from its high ceilings, is a versatile space that can be used for activities such as yoga or simply as a serene area to unwind. Ascend a striking, boldly coloured staircase to discover the fifth bedroom, featuring three kingsize beds. Two additional bathrooms with shower cubicles complete the upper floor, offering both comfort and convenience. A week in The Old Church Hall for this 3-generation family group was hard to beat. The kids enjoyed the huge bedrooms and corridors to race around, the adults enjoyed the comfy chairs, we all enjoyed the large dining table for big meals and the TV/cinema projector screen for relaxation. Beds were very comfortable too. Facilities in the house were excellent: good equipment in the kitchen, plenty of cutlery, crockery, and lots of glasses for all types of drinks. In Seascale we had it all and close at hand too: a beautiful beach, swimming in the sea, cycling (Hadrian and Viking cycle routes), café/ice-cream parlour, fish & chip shop, hotel/bar up the road, railway station (giving swift access to the La'al Ratty railway), Chinese/pizza takeaways, sandwich/snack bar, Co-op food store, pharmacy, hardware/DIY stores.

Absolutely perfect break for our group. Beds super comfy, well stocked kitchen with top quality cooking equipment. I have stayed in so many air b n bs with rubbish pans and knives so this really mattered to me! Lovely spaces to chill and lots of bathrooms with powerful hot showers. Hosts super helpful and easy to contact too. Really looking forward to returning.

This is an amazing house/rental, everything you'd need for a family gathering, the beds were really comfortable plenty of pillows, bedroom sizes were excellent especially the 3 bed, bedroom, the projector room is brill, the kitchen & utensils were of high quality, the dining table was fantastic, lovely seating area for the whole family, all in all, we loved our time at The Old Church Hall, just wish it was closer!
