Renovated to an exacting standard and beautifully decorated with beamed high ceilings, wood burner, a delightful sun room overlooking the garden, not to mention the hot tub - you just might not want to venture further afield. If you can tear yourself away, Cumbria and the Lake District National Park is one of the most beautiful regions in the UK. The area has something to offer all visitors, from those seeking adventure, to those seeking peace and quiet. Not only is the Lake District National Park a short drive away, but from here it’s also easy to explore the great border city of Carlisle, Hadrian’s Wall and Scotland. Shop 4 miles, pub with restaurant 100 yards.

Good peaceful get away from it all location, unencumbered by neighbouring owners farm. Excellent interior layout all on ground floor. Immaculate. Local pub only open Thursday - Sunday for decent food, friendly staff, dogs welcome. Nearest shops are in Wigton, but seems very scruffy run-down place. We liked quirky Fairydust Emporium cafe for breakfast in Silloth. Also had good fish and chips in Silloth too. The best fun to be had was with Chris Jones Gyrocopters out of Kirkbride airfield - highly recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful place to relax and unwind. A great home from home feel with everything we needed for a lovely week. Particularly enjoyed all the wildlife and especially the pet pigs who said hello every day!
