1 Flaxford House is a well-received apartment in Grange-over-Sands, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the quality furnishings, spaciousness, and the views of Morecambe Bay. The property is dog-friendly and within walking distance to local amenities. Some guests noted challenges with the narrow driveway and parking, but this did not detract from the overall positive experience.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests highlighting its cleanliness as a standout feature. There was a single mention of a cleanliness issue with the fridge and freezer, but this appears to be an isolated incident.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to local shops, the promenade, and the views it offers. The only recurring drawback mentioned is the narrow driveway, which some found challenging.
Guests find the apartment comfortable, with quality furniture and a homely feel. The spaciousness and the views contribute to the comfort. A few guests suggested minor improvements, such as a grabrail in the shower.
The apartment is well-equipped with quality appliances and furniture. Guests enjoyed the inclusion of Netflix. Some minor issues were noted, such as the lock on the back door and the need for a summer-rated quilt, but these do not seem to be widespread concerns.
While guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of fizz and chocolates, these are individual experiences and may not be consistent for all stays. As such, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the available reviews.

This property was in an excellent position for shops , takeaways and the local pub (which was dog friendly),most cafes in the town were dog friendly. Minutes for the walk along the prom and the wonderful scenery across the bay. Great views from the from door step as well. Great position also for exploring the Lakes. Comfortable bed, good appliances, and great heating that warmed the apartment quickly and kept it warm. Nice touch with the wine for putting the bins out. If there is one thing just a suggestion that a fridge freshener is put in the fridge as it did smell when we arrived and took a few days to get rid of the smell.

Immaculately fresh & clean , the bottle of Fizz for putting the wheelie bin out was very welcome. Looking forward to visiting again for the Christmas week.

She really enjoyed the property. Great cooking facilities and spotlessly clean. We provided our own grab rail for the shower and non slip mat which were a must. Lovely views and great light through the large windows. We had no problem getting our 7 seat Ford Grand Torneo up the drive. Turning was ok as the builders working next door were very thoughtful and didn't park their vehicles until we had left for the day. In any case we found free parking on the road for 1 hour between 8am and 6pm and there was free parking outside of those times. We usually book with Airbnb and found booking through Sykes rather disappointing. For example we were advised to request if we wanted the twin to be made up as a double but then learned from the owner that these were not zip beds. Unnecessary Confusion created by the agent. , highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing break in very comfortable surroundings, great location and helpful owners.
