About this property

This compact dormer bungalow has been designed to a standard of excellence, resting within the village of Goadsbarrow, right on the coast with views across the bay to Lancashire in the distance. Bring along the family or enjoy a trip with friends, appreciating all that White Stones has to offer, from the calming fields in the distance, to the comfy living area. Presented in an open-plan fashion, the kitchen and dining area is a lovely place to begin your day, and somewhere peaceful to settle down after a journey with your loved ones. Continue a cosy evening in the lounge, which is elevated by a woodburning stove, and an L shape sofa, all complete in a grey overtone, for a sophisticated finish.

A utility area holds those extra's you may need, and the fabulous shower room includes its very own power shower. Choose from two bedrooms located on the ground floor, the first is a twin and the second a double, both almost mirroring each other in style. A rather special aspect of the cottage is the master double room on the first floor; natural light falls in through the collection of windows, and a freestanding roll-top bath is a quirky feature, complimented by a handheld shower. Why not wander outside for some leisure time, relax on the furniture available, or enjoy a barbecue as you watch the sun go down.

The village is close to spectacular Furness Abbey, while the ancient market town of Ulverston is just a couple of miles further up the road. Ulverston is built around a cobbled main street and boasts a fine selection of independent shops, cafés, and pubs with open fires and real ales. There is an extensive selection of eating places to suit everyone, from fine dining to traditional pub food. Ulverston is also well known as a festival town, with events ranging from walking to art and music festivals throughout the summer. A destination not to be missed.

Goadsbarrow is situated right on the coast with views across the bay to Lancashire in the distance. Just up the coast is the small village of Bardsea. This remote area grew from a small fishing village and farming area into a major transportation link for coal, iron ore and corn. Ulverston is also well known as a festival town, with events ranging from flags and walking to art and music festivals throughout the summer.
