We love the central location with most shops, pubs and cafés within a couple of hundred yards walk from the apartment, and an ideal base for easy access to the Lakes District.. All on the

Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. . Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The property is situated on the first floor and the front door opens into a hall area which is ideal for coat and shoe storage and could also accommodate a few bikes. The stairs then lead up to the apartment which opens into a spacious landing area, immediately off the landing you have the large family bathroom which has a bath and separate shower cubicle, across the landing is a second toilet suite. The master bedroom is generous and has benefits from large built in wardrobes, likewise the second bedroom is comparable in size with equal storage space. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of preparation area and the added benefit of a washing machine. There is an additional table to work as a breakfast area. The living/dining room is comfortable and bright.
Grange is a pretty resort with an Edwardian flavour and a relaxed atmosphere. It is on the shores of Morecambe Bay, and has great views across the sands of the Bay. The estuary and the countryside around Grange are fascinating places for nature enthusiasts. A tremendous range of birds can be seen, and there are several nature reserves and sites of special scientific interest. Grange has some of the finest parks and gardens on the Cumbrian coast – the ornamental gardens has a lake with many water birds or if you prefer enjoy a walk along the promenade which hosts regular art exhibitions. Grange is the ideal base to explore the Southern Lakes area which offers plenty of variety in terms of attractions, from the stately Holker Hall and Gardens, to Cartmel Racecourse or mountain biking and Go Ape at Grizedale Forest. You also have easy access to the stunning Lake district with Lake Windermere accessible within a 20 minute drive, so whatever your passion you can plan the perfect vacation for you and your family.

We had a wonderful one-week stay here with our children. The flat was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub and hot-water shower, a separate toilet, a good sitting room, and reliable Wi-Fi.The kitchen was well equipped with a gas oven, large fridge/freezer, and plenty of storage space. Free parking is available at the front, with additional spaces at the rear. Tesco and Co-op are also nearby.The location is ideal for exploring the Lake District, with many attractions around 30–45 minutes away. There are also four 22 kW EV chargers at the nearby Grange Hotel, costing only 25p per kWh.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property.

Apartment was perfect for local shops and walks. I was pleased to see the sofa has been replaced which was comfy. (previous reviews had said it was uncomfortable)I did think a 5pm check in was late and was disappointed that the cleaner was still there when we arrived at quarter past 5 ( she had been stuck in the traffic so not her fault). I do feel the cleanliness could have been better, food debris in cutlery draw, food debris on floor under kitchen and sitting room table, kitchen cupboards needed a good clean, freezer full of ice so the door wouldn’t shut. Other than that all was good and I would go back. There was loads of clothes storage which was great. We had a problem with the washing machine on our last day, cottages.com sorted this out really quickly and were very friendly.

Gorgeous apartment with large rooms and all you could wish for to make your stay memorable. Maybe a larger quilt on the second bed and a fan for comfort would have been good but other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would go back and recommend it to friends and family.
