We have been visiting Lowther gardens for many years and have always enjoyed staying there. The location is perfect with access to shops, restaurants and Grange promenade. However this time we noticed that the house was in need of some TLC. Paint is peeling on windowsill in bathroom, sealant around shower needs replacing, some light bulbs were missing. The kitchen equipment had diminished since our last visit. No serving spoons, no cafetiere only 2 large mugs. There had always been a hairdryer in the bedroom but it was not there this time which was a problem for my wife. We reported the lack of hairdryer and cafetiere but nothing was done about it. It is such a shame because we really like this house.

Accommodation spacious and well situated in town. Close to fabulous eateries of all nationalities. A couple of minor details - small damage to wall of living room and some of paintwork needs re-doing.
