Beckside Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and picturesque location. Guests appreciate the warm, cosy atmosphere and the proximity to Kirkby Lonsdale and local amenities. The cottage's traditional charm and peaceful setting make it a favoured choice for a relaxing getaway, despite some minor maintenance issues.
Guests consistently note the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The cottage's location is frequently highlighted as beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature yet close to the town of Kirkby Lonsdale. Its seclusion and proximity to walking areas are appreciated, though some guests mention narrow access roads.
The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, with a warm kitchen, cosy log burner, and comfortable beds. However, one review mentions an uncomfortable bed in the panelled room, slightly impacting the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and reliable WiFi. Some guests suggest improvements, such as additional dining chairs and adjustments to the eco flush toilets. A few maintenance issues, like the log burner smoke and boiler noises, are noted.
While guests express gratitude for the owners' responsiveness and the welcoming atmosphere, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Highly recommend! The only confusing thing was the google maps location from the application, which leads to wrong address.

Narrow roads to the property but you are as likely to meet a clutch of pheasants in the road as a tractor. Accommodation is as described in the adverts so don't expect more than you have read there. We had a quiet pleasant week in Beckside.
