Lovingly furnished and thoughtfully laid out to take full advantage of the stunning views, the bright living room and kitchen/dining room are situated on the first floor, along with a small study. Downstairs are three good sized, comfortable bedrooms, two of which have their own en-suites. There is also a family bathroom on this floor. Outside is an enclosed gravelled area with garden furniture, ideal for some al-fresco dining or enjoying a cool drink on a warm evening.
Belah Barn is a great base for those wanting a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life. Shop, pub and restaurant 7 miles.

Belah barn is situated in the beautiful hills of Kirkby Stephen. If you're looking for an out of the way holiday this is for you. Downsides are to reach the location you really do have to travel a hilltop single road which in wintry weather could prove difficult but during fine weather not a problem at all. Shopping, especially if you have a family....there is only a local coop. We travelled to Penrith for a week's groceries, not an issue for us but it's worth the mention. Dishwasher and washing machine with tumble dryer in the property all working perfectly. Where to put the rubbish was the only downside, bins provided inside but not out. The beds were comfortable for us. The toilet was out of use when we arrived but was repaired within a couple of days again not an issue. This is a beautiful property surrounded by picturesque country with many many sheep which we absolutely loved. So much to see in surrounding area too. We would come again!!

A beautiful cottage in a tranquil place with amazing views across the countryside. It is surrounded by working farmland. There are some great walks to enjoy. The town of Kirkby Stephen is 15 minutes drive away and has everything you might need. The local people are friendly and helpful.
