Climb the stairs to the first floor, and you will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms with natural colour tones and breathtaking views over the Yorkshire Dales. On the second floor, discover a king-size bedroom with stacks of space, an exposed brick wall and a TV/Wii console for keeping the kids entertained on rainy days. In the morning, grab your walking attire from the tumble dryer in the handy utility room and begin your day of leisurely strolls.

With an abundance of incredible walking paths right at your doorstep, such as Pennine Way, Wild Boar Fell, and High Seat, you'll be hitting the ground walking as soon as you arrive! Pendragon Castle (0.2 miles) presents a wonderful afternoon trip steeped in mystery and legend for the history buffs in the group. Foodies are well served, too, with a visit to the ancient market town of Kirkby Stephen, 4 miles away. Shop for Yorkshire Parkin and curd tart to devour at home, or stop by the bars or eateries for a quick bite to eat.
