Part of a small complex of properties, this delightful cottage can be found in a pretty courtyard and makes a wonderful holiday home for up to six guests. Offering fresh and relaxing accommodation for families and friends, this warm, cosy and stylishly decorated retreat features a warming wood burner, roll-top bath and a bubbling hot tub. Just a few miles from Penrith, the property is an ideal base for eager walkers, cyclists, climbers and nature lovers discovering both the Northern Pennines and the Lake District.
The cosy, light and refreshing lounge is an ideal space to sit in front of the wood burner and watch a movie on the Smart TV, while the airy, sleek and stylishly designed kitchen/diner has plenty of equipment so you can cook and share all your favourite dishes. The ground floor also offers a handy and beautifully tiled wet room. Upstairs, there’s a family bathroom and three individually styled and imaginatively decorated bedrooms to choose between: a double and a king-size room overlook a private lake, while another king-size room features a dressing room and a freestanding roll-top bath. Heading outside from the kitchen, the enclosed garden features a patio with outdoor furniture, a soothing hot tub and views out over the surrounding estate, which you can admire as you enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.
Close to a friendly pub in the picturesque village of Edenhall, the cottage is ideally situated between the Lake District and the North Pennines (both within 6.5 miles) which offer miles of breathtaking walks. Local attractions include Cross Fell, Dalemain Mansion and Pooley Bridge on the shores of Ullswater (all within 11 miles). The bustling market town of Penrith (4 miles) is home to Brougham Castle, the Rheged centre and the remains of Penrith Castle.
