Upstairs, the cottage has two bedrooms: a double room and a bunk room suited to children or extra guests. The family bathroom has a bath, basin and WC, and a washing machine is available in the outbuilding for added convenience during longer stays.

At the rear, the enclosed garden is a pleasant place for morning coffee, a quiet read or time outdoors at dusk. For the car, one vehicle can be parked beneath the arch, and further public spaces sit opposite the cottage. Morland Beck runs through the village, adding to the tranquil atmosphere, and the surrounding lanes are ideal for unhurried strolls. Penrith station and the M6 are both around 15 to 20 minutes by car, making arrival straightforward. Further afield, Ullswater is ideal for boat trips and shore-side rambles, with Aira Force close by for waterfall walks. Keswick, Windermere and Ambleside bring classic Lakeland scenery, independent shops and plenty of places to eat. It is a simple, characterful base for exploring Cumbria at your own pace.
