Fairhaven lake is a short walk, offering tennis, boat hire and bowling amongst its attractions. There is also a cafe and rspb discovery centre. Nearby is a cinema, indoor swimming pool, a beach and a variety of coastal walks. Within a short drive, there are four 18-hole golf courses. The attractive towns of Lytham and St Anne’s offering bars, restaurants and cafes, are within 2 miles. Blackpool is approximately 8 miles. The Lake District is approximately 1-hour. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Great house, spot on location. One or two minor niggles. (Loo, window, number and quality of cutlery items). Overall a great holiday.

Beautiful house well equipped and comfortable. We like to sit out for breakfast and coffee when possible but the garden is very overgrown and needs attention. It is a shame how the garden lets the house down with mismatched garden furniture and where the overgrown trees and shrubs take up more than half the garden space.We had some internet problems and the downstairs toilet had limited use, but this did not spoil our stay. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Beautifully decorated house in vintage style. Beds were comfortable but bedding too heavy and hot for August. Unfortunately there was a toilet blockage as we arrived however this was dealt with quickly, and also when this blockage reoccurred a couple of days later, it was sorted out quickly with no further problems. Nice welcome pack. Lovely peaceful area and easy to find.
