Nether Kellet is a village located a few miles south of Carnforth where you’ll find a selection of convenience stores and supermarkets that stock homely essentials, whilst a delicious pub lunch can be had at a choice of public houses. For a scenic afternoon, head for a rural walk within Thwaite Brow Woods or a scenic hike through the Warton Crag Local Nature Reserve. Lancaster city is also a short drive away with its splendid castle, butterfly house and popular University; whilst the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales can also be reached in less than 30 minutes by car.

Lovely, comfortable and spacious cottage. Super kitchen with every thing we needed. Loved sitting in the dining area looking out on the small but interesting garden as the spring bulbs broke into flower. Bed comfortable. Plenty of towels for humans and dog. On road parking ment we could not always get right outside the cottage, but never too far away. Stairs were steep but the initial write-up warned of that, having a good ground floor bathroom was helpful. 'Local' shop was a car ride away, although would be walkable for energetic folk. We did enjoy exploring the better made up footpaths, however some were just too muddy......but then it is only February. Will have to return in a dryer spell!

This cottage was spotlessly clean,really comfy beds,very cosy and warm.The garden was very pretty with snowdrops and hellebores in bloom and secure for our little dog.The welcome pack was excellent and even dog bowls and dog towels were provided.Would definately book again whilst visiting family in that area.The stairs were steep as the website advised bit had handrails so caused us no problem.

Beech cottage is a lovely place to stay which is very dog friendly. Unfortunately the village itself is not dog friendly with the only park having banned dogs. Luckily Henry could have a good run on the beach with is nearby. Nice welcome basket with milk,eggs ,butter and milk which was very appreciated .
