Pod 1 is a charming single-storey pod tucked away in the peaceful village of Tewitfield, Lancashire, offering a warm and welcoming base for couples looking to slow down, breathe in the countryside air, and enjoy the simple pleasure of being surrounded by nature. Set on Low Greenlands Holiday Park, which has been lovingly providing breaks since 2004, you’ll feel instantly at ease the moment you arrive. With rolling fields, a friendly atmosphere, and easy access to both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, this little hideaway puts you right on the doorstep of two of the country’s most beautiful landscapes.

Step inside to a welcome studio-style layout designed with elegance in mind. There’s a double bed for chilled mornings, a compact but cleverly equipped kitchen for easy meals with a combi microwave oven and induction hob, a dining space perfect for lingering over breakfast, and a sitting area where you can settle in after a day of exploring. A sleek, modern shower room completes the interior, ideal for refreshing before stepping out again in those fresh early mornings. Outside, a non-enclosed garden with a lawn and picnic bench invites you to savour your morning coffee in the fresh air or enjoy an alfresco dinner as the sun sets.

Two well-behaved dogs are very welcome too, so no family member needs to stay behind. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 1192767, 1192784, 1192787, 1192788, 1192789, 1192790, 1192582 and 1192791 together sleeping up to 44 guests.

A small, traditional Cumbrian village set in beautiful countryside and ideally placed for exploring Southern Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and the peaceful Forest of Bowland. The village has a Post Office/general store for stocking up on the essentials and lies 7 miles from the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, and 12 miles from Kendal, the gateway to the Lake District. There is easy access to many areas of interest, with the historic city of Lancaster and the seaside resorts of Morecambe and Blackpool all within easy reach. The acclaimed rspb wildfowl reserve of Leighton Moss is only 4 miles away, while Morecambe Bay is also famous for birdwatching. Other locations well worth a visit are the villages of Silverdale and Arnside (overlooking the beautiful Kent Estuary), Ingleton, Settle and Clapham. Levens Hall (famous topiary) and medieval Sizergh Castle with a beautiful garden are nearby. Good pubs and restaurants are also abound in the area. There is plenty of good walking nearby, and golf, fishing and riding are all available locally.
