We love the feeling of light and space that welcomes you as soon as you enter this lovely apartment. Ideally located a short walk to the beach, with views to Lakes District in the distance.. All on the

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. This ground floor apartment is accessed off an entrance hallway with a beautiful, tiled floor. As you open the door you get an instant sense of light and space with the large rooms and high ceilings. The living room is comfortable with plenty of seating and space for all guests, as you look over the rooftops from its elevated position you have a sea view. The kitchen/dining room is well appointed with all the appliances you need for a proper ‘home from home’ experience and ample space to sit around the table and talk about the day’s adventures. There are two good sized double bedrooms with another sea view and the accommodation is completed by a family bathroom.

The local area is popular with walkers and cyclists alike. The beach is a 2 minutes’ walk, or you may prefer a stroll along the Lancaster canal which is less than 50 yards from the doorstep. The local area offers a great choice of activities to enjoy with the beautiful town of Lancaster around 5 minutes’ drive away. Take a step back in time visiting the wonderful Lancaster Castle or Maritime Museum, or maybe a sedate canal cruise. The shopping is great, and you can finish the day off with a visit to the cinema or bowling. Also nearby is Carnforth the Home of West Coast railways which offers trips using classic and modern diesels and historic steam locomotives, also close by there are wildlife parks, stately homes and gardens or for something different, try watching the mayhem of stock car racing! You are sure to have plenty today or simply take in some of the outstanding natural beauty of the area. Beach 175 yards.

    All surfaces and linen were spotless but unfortunately the previous people had left grease and crumbs in the oven trays and not washed their cups thoroughly. A quick wash easily removed them so obviously not been there ages. Plenty of lovely plates and cups. Really comfortable king size bed. Really clean room tastefully decorated. Single bed was not so comfy for my son who showed me where he could feel spungs and there was a missing or broken slat. It was clean though. Storage heaters were turned so low on arrival and we contacted the owner to ask and he was really kind and helpful giving us really clear guidance. It did warm up and was fine after that. The t.v could have done with an idiots guide for the non technical and the microwave was on lock. Again the owner went all out to send us help which was easy to follow and worked. We aren't dead technical and don't like to fiddle and make things worse so his kindness and help was appreciated. Cleaner left us plenty of loo roll and spare towels but no tea towels but I always pack a couple so it wasn't an issue for us. Walking distance to sea ... Lovely little beach area. So good for Morecambe and Lancaster. Lots to do. Parking is around the back so not immediately obvious from the street but safe.

    Clean well equipped apartment, problem with the loo but was fixed with in the hour, nice bathroom and shower the only thing that let this property down was the mattresses on the beds the springs were showing and made sleeping very uncomfortable. It was a great price off road parking lovely canal and beach walks, no shops but Morecambe 4 miles away has a retail outlet, aldi, Morrisons, next ….Everything seemed dog friendly even the midland at Morecambe which is a must visit.

    Lovely flat in Hest Bank right next to the canal and the shore. Within spitting distance of the local pub. Dog friendly and well kitted out. Quiet location within driving distance of Lancaster and Morecambe.
