A wonderful spot in a well maintained lodge with lovely lounge furniture and outside picnic area.... beautiful pair of black swans and lots of ducks which were fun to feed with brown seeded bread of course.... the only draw back was the double mattress..... it was very uncomfortable and we really wonder if the owner ever spends a night sleeping on it to check? Memory foam mattresses are not that expensive nowadays. Also a tray would be great for carrying things to the picnic table.

Hosts were there to greet us and handover the key etc and we were able to just enjoy the tranquility of the place which was ideal for my brother . There was a secure pen for my Border Collie to let off some energy We were immediately opposite the huge pond which has a pair of black swans - fabulous to see them . Definitely will return next year
