The bustling market town of Glossop is also just 3 miles with ample amenities, and being on the edge of the Peak District National Park means an abundance of popular towns and villages such as Edale, Castleton, and the famous spa town of Buxton are all within a 40-minute drive. The wonderful village of Hayfield neighbours Glossop and is popular with walkers due its proximity to Kinder Scout catering well for tourists with its own collection of pubs, cafés, and restaurants.
If you’re looking for city life, the bright lights of Manchester are just a half hour’s drive away, or 30 minutes on a direct train from Broadbottom which is just 1.7 miles from the property.

Rachel & Steve made us very welcome with some thoughtful goodies on arrival. The hot tub was ready and waiting which was a definite highlight of our weekend. The cottage is beautifully designed and furnished. We enjoyed a takeaway delivery and travelled easily into Manchester City Centre. We would definitely love to return.

Property was lovely and clean with lovely owners who went above and beyond to help make your stay extra special. We were only there for a short stay and struggled to find local amenities, would recommend popping some leaflets for meals out/ takeaways etc in the folder. Obviously the walks were beautiful and it was a lovely quiet place to come back to.
