Parwich dates back to the Saxon times and has an air of peace and tranquillity about it. The local pub is a traditional country pub in the serving cask ales and delicious home cooked food. Not only is it a pub, but should you require your groceries, it serves as the village shop. The nearby Manifold River cuts a course through superb scenery and is a delight for both walkers and cyclists, with the ’Manifold Trail’ following the route of the old Leek to Manifold Light Railway.
