Guests say

Ravenscliffe Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and suitability for both families and pets. Guests appreciate the enclosed garden, modern amenities, and the thoughtful welcome pack. The cottage's proximity to local attractions and pubs enhances its appeal, although the kitchen size and garden security are noted concerns.

Guests consistently mention that the cottage is very clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is highly recommended for its tranquility and convenience to the Peak District and local amenities, though one review mentions it being slightly off the beaten track.

The cottage is described as comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed, though the sofa bed is noted to be a bit hard and the cottage can feel cramped for more than two adults.

Facilities are generally good, with mentions of a welcome pack and information folder. However, the kitchen is noted to be small with basic equipment, which could be a challenge for meal preparation.

The provision of a welcome pack, toiletries, and information on the local area demonstrates thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Had an amazing few days in this cottage. Everything you could need and want was there. The area was amazing. So quiet. We had a dog with us and had no issues at all. There was garden and it was enclosed.

Fantastic location with pastoral views. Great base for exploring the Peak District: Buxton, Dove Dale, Derby, and just near Ashbourne. The cottage is modern, compact and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Ravenscliffe cottage is very well situated for the Peak District - Dovedale, Wolfcote Dale, Tissington Trail, Chatsworth House are all a short drive away. The cottage is slightly off the beaten track and in a quiet, peaceful location. There was good communication from the owner and the cottage was clean. Just be aware that, if you are taking a dog, the garden is not secure. The kitchen is also small with basic equipment which made it a challenge to prepare and cook meals. However, there are some lovely, friendly country pubs nearby.
