Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. White Park Cottage is the largest of the two barn conversions on Broad Ecton Farm. The ground floor has an open plan, social space made up of the kitchen, dining and living space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need during your stay to rustle up your favourite meals. The living area has comfortable seating and a TV plus a dining table with chairs. There is warming underfloor heating throughout the property. The first double bedroom is located on the ground floor, up a few steps and has an en-suite shower room. On the first floor are two further bedrooms made up of two doubles, and a family bathroom with shower over bath.
The location is central to many walking routes, with the most popular being the Manifold Valley just over the hill; from the door you can take on different hikes each day, never needing to take the car if you don’t wish. Aside of walks, there are many tourist attractions such as Alton Towers theme park. The nearest village of Hartington lies just a few miles away and features a famous cheese shop which is a must visit, you can also hop on the Tissington Trail or the High Peak Trail. Towns such as Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell are all close and fun to explore as well as the historic house of Chatsworth.

Gorgeous comfy cottage, well equipped and cosy with underfloor heating. Surrounded by the beautiful Peak District it is the perfect base, only 30 minutes from most larger towns. The hot tub was a great addition to an evening after a long day's walking, big enough for the whole party. The drive up felt tight on the first day but we soon got used to it, there are several passing places and it is limited to local access. Henry, the host, was very friendly and happy to help, and the farm was very clean too. Will definitely revisit.

Gorgeous cosy cottage in beautiful location. Quite remote, you will need to take the car to local villages, but for us that was part of the appeal - peaceful. Very friendly owner. Will definitely return.

perfect cottage for peace and quiet with the most beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks nearby or on your doorstep . Henry the farmer who owns the cottages and lives in the farm house was great for advice on where to go locally . Lovely hottub in garden for recovery after a day of walking . Spotlessly clean with free laundry facilities in the laundry room. Gas bbq with gas , excellent we had a few bbqs . The working farm has a beautiful rare breed of bulls on the fields and sheep. Was slightly remote but that’s the fun of it all .
