Stonelow Cottage is an idyllic rural retreat, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Derbyshire Dales. This farmhouse has been beautifully refurbished with sustainability in mind, under the careful guidance of the Duchess of Devonshire and is now the newest addition to the ‘Chatsworth Collection’

Lovingly renovated to accentuate the traditional, authentic style of the farmhouse, all the character and charm has been retained and enhanced by modern, cosy comforts and elegant design elements.

Located on a private track, and surrounded by moorland, sweeping countryside views of Eastmoor can be seen from every window in the cottage. If you want to truly escape and enjoy some peace and tranquillity, then Stonelow Cottage is the perfect home from home for up to six guests.

The vintage furniture, patterns and fabrics used to style the cottage, add the perfect finishing touches. The former dilapidated farmhouse has been brought back to life, thanks to the charming cottage that now stands in its place.

The entrance hallway leads to a downstairs shower room, and a cosy sitting room with log fire, a modern well-equipped kitchen with a sit-up island and separate dining room.

A small snug is located off the main sitting room and has a full size Smart Television along with plenty of books and games.

Upstairs there are three tastefully furnished bedrooms. Bedrooms one and two have super-king size beds with bedroom one able to be set us as twin beds and bedroom three has a double bed and en-suite shower room. A shared family bathroom upstairs has a bath with hand held shower attachment.

To the front of the cottage is a large lawned garden which is enclosed by a low stone wall. To the rear is an enclosed garden with terrace and outdoor furniture, perfect to enjoy morning and evening sun.

There is plenty of off road parking in the courtyard at the rear, including an Electric vehicle car charging point.

Guests can pre-book a slot for the Chatsworth Health Club, where facilities include use of the gym, swimming pool and tennis court (additional charges apply).

Two well-behaved dogs welcome (additional charge per dog).

Children and infants welcome. Travel cot and highchair available on request (please provide your own cot linen). Travel cot can be accommodated in bedrooms one and two.

The bedding is non-feather.

A hairdryer is provided in each bedroom.

Please be aware there is a gated and signed private field which is accessed via the drive by the local farmer.
