The neighbouring town of Matlock Dale is sure to impress with the Matlock Bath Aquarium and Arcade, the Peak District Mining Musuem and the fantastic Gulliver’s World Theme Park. Matlock, a prominent Peak District town, and its neighbour, Matlock Bath, have been bringing visitors to the area since the late 17th century when the spa was built. The Matlocks, which are located in the magnificent wooded gorge of the River Derwent, provide a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as a number of attractions such as Gulliver's Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. The cable car that brings visitors up to the Heights of Abraham - a terrific spot for the whole family with its showcaves, nature walk, water gardens, and Owl Maze – offers spectacular views down the gorge. The High Peak Cycle Trail begins south of town, while the National Tramway Museum at Crich is a short drive away. The market town of Bakewell, as well as Chatsworth House and Park, are located to the north and are not to be missed!
