This fully restored 18th century farmhouse adjoins the owner’s home in the beautiful ’White Peak’ limestone country, centrally located in the Peak National Park, near Peak Forest, with fine view across to wooded hills and the striking landscape. The holiday cottage has wealth of exposed beams and stonework and offers an ideal base for the small family and couples alike. Fine walking and mountain biking from the door. Golf and horse riding nearby. Shop 4 miles, dog friendly pub 0.75 miles.

Elaine and Dave are very friendly helpful hosts. The cottage was well equipped with all you could need. The cottage is surrounded by fields with a farm next door but the village is in walking distance. The local pub although only open Thursday to Sunday serves good food and the staff are friendly. Chapel-en-le-Frith is close by with a supermarket and Buxton in not too far either

Great venue with walks into the peaks on your doorstep. Elaine and David turned out to be great hosts. Any visitor must take a walk to David’s seat in the hills (how he got it there beggars belief) which results in a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Most enjoyable few days.

Elaine & Dave are lovely hosts. Cottage was isolated so very quiet but with easy access within the local area. Local pub a short walk away but only open four days a week
