Absolutely beautiful holiday cottage. Perfect for a short getaway. Well equipped, clean and comfortable and some very lovely welcome gifts. The owners were very friendly and the pub down the road is a must! Only downside is a small bed otherwise amazing

We loved staying here .we had a week stayed at the calf shed .when we arrived we had stunning view. a lovely village pub called church inn. Very friendly and lovely food. The Place we stayed in .you could not fault it .so clean.everything you need it .was like home from home .they even left us a bakewell pudding 2 buxton ales and even left us a pint of fresh milk We would definitely recommend this place 10 out 10. We will definitely be coming back in the summer our dog enjoyed it to the peace and quite .he never barked once the hole time we was there .

The calf shed is the perfect getaway! It came equipped with everything we needed during our stay, in a great location not a long drive from lots of the trails and very dog friendly. The owners left us with a list of restaurants to visit which we found very useful in trying to find somewhere to eat which could also accommodate for dogs. The views around are amazing and the shed itself is so practical. Would really recommend this to anyone interested in visiting somewhere new.
