A delightful little cottage, set on the owner’s own small Shetland pony stud farm, surrounded by the beautiful Staffordshire countryside in the hamlet of Foxt, near Leek. Cosy and welcoming throughout to provide a delightful little retreat, this Foxt cottage is the perfect spot for couples wanting to escape from the world! With beautiful countryside views, a balcony accessed from the first floor landing, and welcoming open plan living, this Foxt cottage is lovely to return to after a day exploring the Peak District. Outside, this Foxt cottage has the luxury of a huge garden, with large lawns to amble around, and a pretty patio, perfectly positioned to enjoy those Staffordshire countryside views. The tiny hamlet of Foxt has a traditional village pub serving real ale and good food, whilst the nearby village of Ipstones has a village shop/Post Office and two village pubs. Just a short drive from this delightful Foxt holiday cottage are Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Ashbourne and Bakewell. With many lovely walks from the doorstep and numerous outdoor activities on offer close by, this is a wonderful base for a self-catering cottage holiday, all year round.
Foxt is a scattered hamlet that is situated in the beautiful Staffordshire moorlands, set in the Churnet Valley and on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Foxt benefits from an excellent village pub which serves good food and a variety of real ales. This hamlet is a wonderful base for those wanting to discover the picturesque area of the Peak District.
