A lovely rustic cottage. Fantastic views from the kitchen / living room - enjoying the afternoon sun and sunsets (& torrential rain one day but even then the view was nice).Nicely equipped with everything in the cottage needed. Comfy bed. There are some low beams and doorways - to be expected in an old cottage - so beware! It feels remote but with easy access to Oswestry / Welshpool and into the centre of Wales. The local roads need a little patience and does the drive to the cottage.Powis & Chirk Castles and Erddig - all National Trust are close by with nice parkland walking. Great canal walks too on the Llangollen Canal and Welshpool canal.

A lovely cottage, just right for the two of us . Stunning views and loved watching the wildlife. Plenty to do in the area within a 30 minute drive. Erddig, Powis Castle, Chirk castle, the British ironworks sculpture park to name a few.Although it didn’t bother us the road to the cottage was a little rough but this wouldn’t stop us from visiting again. The Wynnstay inn at Llansillin was fab, we had 3 great meals there and the Stonehouse Brewery at Morda was excellent.
