Set along a quiet country lane within The New Forest National Park this charming annex is the perfect getaway for couples looking for short break to relax or as a base for a longer stay to explore this stunning part of the country. Farriers offers a lovely double bedroom, sitting room, separate kitchen/breakfast room and bathroom along with parking and a small courtyard at the front. Please note there is no access to the rear garden.
Just 100 yards from the open Forest leading to numerous walking, cycling routes. Walking or cycling distance to Burley is 2 miles and Bransgore is 1½ miles. Also close by are Barton-on-Sea, Highcliffe and the vibrant town of Christchurch. Great pubs, cafés, eating houses and convenience stores are all within easy reach. Discover some local attractions and gardens such as Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens and the riverside village of Bucklers Hard. Moors Valley Country Park and Avon Heath are within easy driving distance. Further afield, but well worth a trip are Salisbury with its historic cathedral, or head to Christchurch; a charming riverside town with plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat or drink or simply relax by the river. The beaches at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Southbourne are within a short drive, and offer a wide range of activities including windsurfing, boating and paddle boarding. The Unesco World Heritage Jurassic Coastline is a must for a day out.

We had a wonderful week at Farriers. It is perfectly situated for walking, the New Forest is literally just along the road.. Also handy for Christchurch, Burley and the coast. Good local pubs a short drive away. Spotlessly clean and superbly equipped, we had everything we needed (including a splendid welcome pack!). Alison & Mick were excellent hosts who helped us get the most out of our visit. Dog friendly too (Robbie loved it!).. Thank you for a lovely holiday...

A lovely well equipped small Annexe, perfect for a couple looking for peace and tranquility in a forest location with great walks and a base for exploring the area.The owners live next door and are really friendly and helpful. The extra touches they provide, such as tea, coffee, milk, juice and fruit are such an appreciated extra. They really go the extra mile with providing everything you need to feel at home and the cleanliness is exceptional.
