Situated in Ore village, a residential area on the outskirts of Hastings, this holiday property is just a 10 minute drive to the beach, with local shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. On the other side of Ore is access to the Hastings Country Park with 3 miles of cliffs and coastline to explore. Venture into the old town of Hastings where the drama ’Foyles War’ was filmed, and see the Stade and the famous black weather boarded net huts. Visit Hastings Castle, experience an undersea safari in a tropical ocean through a transparent underwater tunnel or join ’Hairy Jack’ through acres of underground caverns. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 mile, beach 2 miles

We enjoyed our stay at Breedsmoor Cottage. The house is clean, comfortable and well-equipped with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and milk for our arrival. The enclosed garden is dog-friendly and there's an enclosed driveway for parking at the front. Ore village feels a little run-down but it's a quiet neighbourhood and is a good location for exploring the local area. Shops are within a few minutes' walk and Hastings town, seafront and country park are less than a 10 minute drive away.

Lovely house, very near my Aunts home. Dog friendly. Warm and comfortable. An older property, a bit tired in places, though that doesn’t distract from the overall experience. Some of the kitchen wear could perhaps be replaced. The frying pan was scratched and rusty, and the cups, although new and clean had very small handles at the top of the cup which made them too heavy and quite difficult to carry safely, without getting burned. As I said, , very little details. Would book again.
