We (westie & 2 adults) had a lovely week stay at the Annexe, a mix of work and leisure. Very comfortable bed and sofas, furnished to a great standard, all the facilities needed for a week stay, very clean throughout. The coffee machine - wow, wow, what a great touch! All on ground floor so easy access for any mobility issues. Outside patio is secure with gates at both entrances, important for us doggie slaves….Host lives next door, helpful but not intrusive. Situated in quiet area but with very close access to local shops/takeaways.Location was perfect for us, 10 min drive into Brighton (the work bit), and easy to go east to Seaford/Eastbourne and for walking at Seven Sisters/Beachy Head. Buses every 10 mins along the coast road if needed, also take care with driving in bus lanes (had a fine - well, it was pelting down, and we are from west Wales where these things don’t really exist!) Dog bonus, 100 m stroll and you’re on the promenade/cliffs at Peacehaven - doggy walk heaven…. We were the first to stay, some intermittent internet connection difficulties which the host was resolving with new connection while we were there. Heating was warm/hot all through our stay, would have been good to have a separate thermostat for the annexe though.Overall, a fab, very dog friendly stay and we would definitely book again when next in the area.
