Guests appreciate its peaceful setting, proximity to local pubs, and suitability as a base for exploring the area. The hosts are noted for their responsiveness and helpfulness. Some guests mention low ceilings, occasional noise from nearby construction or the road, and a few maintenance issues. The majority of guests found the cottage clean and tidy, with only one mention of stale milk in the fridge. Overall, cleanliness is consistently praised.

The location is described as peaceful, scenic, and ideal for exploring local attractions, with a lovely pub nearby. Some mention road noise and construction, but most feedback is positive.

Guests generally found the cottage cosy and comfortable, especially enjoying the fire and garden. However, low ceilings and a sofa bed in the second bedroom were issues for taller guests and those with back problems.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a modern kitchen, bathrooms, and thoughtful touches like a well-stocked kitchen and good internet. Some maintenance issues were noted, such as the dishwasher, cooker dials, and lack of TV.

This is a lovely cottage in a lovely place. However, the second bedroom has a bed settee which is not comfortable. I cannot remember the cottage details actually specifying that it was a bed settee, I would not have booked if I had seen this. I am tall and have a dodgy back so I had 7 nights with poor sleep. Please replace with a proper bed.

Loved the style that it had. Views at the back Great 👍 Neighbours friendly but could hear them talking in the evening. Plus there TV which I felt was missing in the cottage for me.Enjoyed the local pub. Shops a long walk at to drive to most places. But did go into central London for the day on the local trains that was a good experience.Rather than 2 chairs felt 2 sofas would be better and a few side tables for drinks. Never found the BBQ. And a small hot tub would add the fun 😊❤️
