About this property
Accessed by a lovely driveway, past the New Forest showground, this beautiful cottage is a breath of fresh air with a homely interior made for all the family. Arrive into the entrance hall, which takes you through to the comfortable lounge, a cosy base for a snug evening in front of the woodburning stove. The well-equipped kitchen has been designed to a lovely standard, with a country-cottage-feel continuing through to the warm kitchen. Beyond the kitchen you are led to a downstairs shower room. Views of the garden create a lovely backdrop to wake up to, perfect for a restful hour or so amongst it all. Stairs lead up to three bedrooms, each neutrally decorated and promising a soothing night's sleep, with a countryside landscape located just outside of the window. Comprising of two double rooms (one with the option to have two single beds) and a single, there is somewhere for everyone to unwind in style. A family bathroom completes the interior, well-matched with sandy coloured walls and a classic white suite. Wander outside in your leisure time, a wonderful set-up for some quiet time on the patio area, whilst the children enjoy the lawned garden, all enclosed. Voted one of the best places to live in the UK, Brockenhurst is appreciated for its collection of tearooms, pubs and restaurants, here to elevate your stay. Within a few miles of the sea and the heart of the forest only a few minutes' walk away, this is a sight-seeing haven, ideal for strolling the area, enjoying picnics, or taking a trip to Lyndhurst for a wonderful family day out. Close to the coast, this is a heart-warming cottage in a magnificent part of Hampshire.
The village is well known for its diversity of shops, tearooms, pubs and high quality restaurants, certainly worth a visit. There are also forest tours with wagon and horses, forest walks of varying lengths, suited for all visitors. Every year there is a village fête on the Bank Holiday Monday in August. Cadnam is within reaching distance and Lyndhurst is a great place for families to visit.
