The comfortable lounge has a wood burning stove for cosy evenings in, and there is a downstairs bedroom with separate shower room offering flexible accommodation. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities and a family bathroom.

Brockenhurst village is within a 20 minute walk where you will find shops including 2 mini-supermarkets, pubs and eateries. The Pig restaurant is a 10 minute walk away, as is The Balmer Lawn Hotel, both offering fine dining options. The south coast yachting town of Lymington is just a short drive away, where there are plenty of interesting shops, a famous Saturday charter market, restaurants, pubs and coastal walks to enjoy. From Brockenhurst mainline station you can catch a train to Lymington, Southampton, Bournemouth and beyond.

For those who love to explore the great outdoors, Northay Cottage, overlooking the open Forest, couldn’t be better placed. Walk, cycle or ride for miles from the front door, passing ponies, cattle and other New Forest livestock who are often seen grazing opposite the house.
