Stroll into the village to go shopping or to dine out. Hire bicycles then choose from myriad lovely trails to follow. Make the 11-mile circular journey to Lyndhurst and back, through spectacular ancient woodland. Drive 5 miles to Lymington to catch the ferry over to the Isle of Wight. Or, have a day at the beach at Milford on Sea, 8 miles away, or Southbourne, 14 miles away.
