Guests say

Homewood is a spacious and well-equipped cottage, appreciated for its ample space and suitability for large groups. Guests enjoy the games cupboard, pool table, and the property's proximity to attractions and walks. The farm setting adds a unique charm, though some industrial aspects are noted. The outdoor areas and maintenance could benefit from some attention.

The property generally appears clean, but guests have suggested a deep clean, particularly of floors and surfaces, to address issues like dirty feet, black residue on towels, and cobwebs. The cleanliness of items like the dog's water bowl was also a concern.

The location is well-regarded for its access to tourist spots and the opportunity for walks right from the door. The farm setting is unique, though some guests found the surroundings a bit industrial.

The comfort of the property is generally good, with a spacious downstairs area. However, guests have mentioned that the single beds are not ideal for adults and that the mattresses could use an upgrade.

Facilities like the games cupboard and pool table are highlights, but maintenance issues such as unusable pool cues, a non-fitting triangle, and the need for smoother driveway access and trimmed brambles detract from the experience.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category.

A very enjoyable week in the cottage which was very spacious and well equipped. We made good use of the games cupboard and the Pool table. When there was an issue with the hot water it was resolved very quickly. Highly recommend
