Keyhaven is a great base for guests who like to be by the coast, but also not far from the best of both worlds, as the New Forest National Park is just a short 15 minute drive to the north. Just a two minute walk away, you can pick up the Solent Way walk which leads you from Keyhaven along the Nature Reserve into the Georgian town of Lymington. This walk is an ideal circular route or during the summer months, simply jump on the coastal tour bus back to Keyhaven.

There is an array of water sports just 400 yards from the property, including kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing.

Just a mile down the road is the bustling seaside village of Milford on Sea. There is an abundance of eateries and shops here including the Award Winning fish restaurant Verveine.

Hurst Castle, an English Heritage site, built by Henry III, can be walked to along Hurst Spit or alternatively, between Easter and October a ferry runs from the little jetty at Keyhaven across to the Castle. The end of the spit showcases stunning views of The Needles and rest of the Isle of Wight.
