The property has a private garden and decked area at the rear. Get ready to sit back and enjoy the tremendous views with a glass of something bubbly. The natural and landscaped grounds are shared with the owner and there is easy access to a walkway down to the village with its lovely pub or the famous hiking trail The Test Way which runs alongside the property. Dogs are welcome and are sure to love their holiday as well.

We cannot recommend River Test View highly enough. Absolutely everything was perfect. We thought the decor, layout and wonderful private setting was stunning. The view is out of this world. We slept so well in the extremely comfortable bed. The Hampshire countryside at this time of the year was totally beautiful. We spent hours watching the wildlife around the river, with Red Kites circling above (binoculars were great)We enjoyed EVERY second of our stay.Thank you **

This cottage was lovely. It was very peaceful and the views from the cottage were amazing. It was a short walk to the village of Chilbolton were there was a lovely pub and shop with a cafe attached. There are several walks along the Test way from the cottage. I would definitely go back again.

River Test View was perfect for what we needed, which was a quiet few days away to rest and relax. The view is to die for, especially from the upstairs, and we watched a lot of wildlife on the river and in the countryside around the cottage. Love the quirky decor, a clever mix of old and new. Nice bonus to have the outdoor seating area which was perfect in the morning and evening to sit and take in the view watching the red kites flying overhead. Great pubs in the nearby villages especially the Mayfly by the river.
