Choose to dine at the long dining table with bench seating in the first living area, perfect for a celebratory evening meal, or make use of the other dining space which has a sweet country style breakfast table for a morning coffee and the paper. Settle down in the evening in one of the sitting areas, both complete with two sofas to relax on and a TV for entertainment. Two double bedrooms rest on the ground-floor, one enjoying an en-suite shower room, and a ground-floor bathroom hosts a fabulous roll-top bath with a separate walk-in shower, so those less able will have access to beautiful ground-floor living. Up the first staircase you can find a twin bedroom and a double bedroom with a pull-out bed, both rooms elegantly decorated with exposed beams featuring throughout, and chandelier light fittings hanging from above next to the Velux windows. Also on the first floor following the second set of stairs, discover another twin room, able to be a double bed on request, and a pull-out bed here too, with plenty of space just like the other four bedrooms. Enjoy relaxing outdoors on the patio, with patio doors leading from both living spaces, you can come together for an evening drink in the sun or a midday alfresco lunch. The village of Twyford is a charming place and is home to two lovely country pubs, as well as a local coffee shop and a convenience store, it has all the essentials you need. Head into Winchester just 3-miles north for a wider range of amenities, and a look at the city's amazing medieval cathedral, with a Norman crypt below hosting a modern art gallery. Golfers can find three courses close by, choose from Hockley Golf Course, South Winchester Golf Club and the Royal Winchester Golf Club. A wonderful day out is waiting for you and your loved ones at Maxwell Zoo, meet 170 exotic and endangered species set within the beautiful 140 acre grounds. Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium is another excellent place to visit, with interactive science exhibits and a varied events program there's always something to be enjoyed. Walkers will delight in the excellent walking trails and routes available in the South Downs, including the South Downs Way stretching 100-miles from Winchester right across to Eastbourne in East Sussex, or head out towards Salisbury on The Clarendon Way.
