Dovedale is a spacious and well-equipped holiday cottage in Ryde, appreciated for its secure garden and quiet location. While some guests enjoyed the property's comfort and the owner's courtesy, others noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance.
Cleanliness received mixed reviews, with several guests noting the need for a deeper clean and attention to detail. Issues such as dust, hair, and stained linens were mentioned, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is generally praised for being quiet and close to the town centre, with easy access to Ryde's seaside facilities. However, one review mentioned the area as run down, slightly affecting the score.
Comfort levels were deemed satisfactory by most guests, with the property described as spacious and the beds comfortable. However, steep stairs and unlined curtains in one bedroom detracted from the overall comfort for some.
Facilities were well-received for being fully equipped, especially in the kitchen, with a secure garden and a barbecue. However, maintenance issues like a slow-draining shower and a lack of cleanliness in some areas affected the score.
