The slightly quirky layout of this semi-detached property makes it a memorable holiday home and gives the property a real character of its own, whilst its location in the west of the island provides the ideal base to enjoy fantastic coastal walks, beautiful bays and some of the islands very best beaches.
Sea Breezes can sleep up to six guests and offers a spacious double bedroom on the ground floor with a kingsize bed as well as a downstairs toilet on the same level for a comfortable stay for lesser able bodied guests. Having undergone a thorough refurbishment, the interior is contemporary, clean and very comfortable with lots of space for children. Externally the property includes an enclosed garden with a patio area and provides a storage area for bicycles. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms, a super kingsize double bedroom with zip and link bed which can be twin beds upon request, and a twin room, along with a family bathroom and a separate shower/dressing room.
Situated in the scenic village of Totland, it is only two miles from the quaint harbour town of Yarmouth. The fantastic Totland Bay is located only a short distance away along Madeira Road, just a 5 minute walk, where you can find a bar and restaurant and a cafe to try the exquisite seafood, experience some of the finest sunsets or enjoy a stroll along to neighbouring Colwell Bay, which is one of the most picturesque beaches in the west. There are spectacular views across the Solent to mainland England, with clear, calm waters and gently sloping sand and shingle, it’s an ideal beach for swimming. For surfers and kite surfing enthusiasts, there is Compton Bay a short drive away. One of the Isle of Wight’s best kept secrets Compton offers a two mile stretch of contrasting dark and golden sands, with rolling seas, and a stunning backdrop of multi-coloured sandstone cliffs. It’s also a great place to go fossil hunting, you can actually book tours on the beach to see the dinosaur footprints in the sandstone ledge at Hanover Point that are exposed when at low tide.
Whether you want to explore or just unwind, Sea Breezes can offer you everything you need for the perfect holiday. There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages on this beautiful sunny island. The Needles Landmark attraction is a must see and is a short distance away to the west, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Why not pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens, perhaps Blackgang Chine which is the oldest themed attraction in the UK, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the world renowned sailing town of Cowes.
