We have stayed at Westfield 4 times now, and each time have had a wonderful holiday. The house is cosy and clean with so many thoughtful touches - spare batteries and chargers, a well-equipped kitchen and spice drawer, lots of books and toys for children. Th extensive woodland garden is perfect for those who like wildlife watching - the feeders attract lots of birds and the famous red squirrels! David and Jan are excellent hosts and always very responsive should you have any questions. The location in peaceful West Wight is perfect for us, with a great pub and a busy stop a short walk away. Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

The road leading to the cabin is very rough and uneven the cabin is very nice and cosy with all your needs the double bed is in need of a new mattress we lit the wood burner and after a couple of hours the carbon monoxide alarm went off and we had to get out of the cabin we eventually got hold of the owners and they said it was the battery and there was a spare one in the drawer but there wasn't after midnight the alarm went off and we went to bed after testing the alarm we got a call from the owner in the morning and a bit of a apology for the evening and then we had to leave no one came to see if we were alright or check the burger very poor i think

The area was lovely and quiet with great walks and easy access to IoW. The house was lovely and warm and cosy BUT the biggest problem was the beds - they were really hard, uncomfortable a bit lumpy and noisy - obviously a subjective view. My oh tried the spare beds, sofa, floor! Also, the house felt a bit run down, equipment not working fully (toaster), doors not shutting, information outdated, everything a bit old, just a bit unloved.
