Perfect stay! The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had absolutely everything we needed — including a fully equipped kitchen and cosy touches throughout. The location is ideal: peaceful yet close to stunning local beaches and plenty of attractions. We enjoyed the Port Lympne safari park, mooching around the picturesque town of Rye, the Ashford designer retail outlet and the Tenterden leisure centre with waterslide for our little one. The hot tub was amazing for relaxing after a day out. We loved the friendly local pub (fantastic food) and the tearoom serving amazing cakes. Couldn’t fault a thing — we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Lovely old cottage but with all mod cons, deceivingly spacious in the newer added area. There are some steps down into this part which are fairly steep if your not 100% on your legs. Also busy fairly noisy road on the other side of the fence but the garden is well fenced and safe for dogs.Beautiful views across fields on the other side of garden, watch the sun rise and lots of dawn chorus. Would stay again.

A Perfect Family Getaway in the Heart of KentWe had the most wonderful stay at this charming thatched cottage in Kent. Nestled in the peaceful countryside, the cottage offered stunning views across rolling fields, which we enjoyed each morning with a cup of tea in hand. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time with the children. The cottage itself was full of character, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean. The highlight for all of us had to be the hot tub — a real treat in the evenings after a day of exploring. There was no shortage of things to do locally. We visited a nearby vineyard for a wine tasting (while the children enjoyed the open space and delicious local juices), took a ride on a vintage steam train, and even spent a day at a safari park — which was a huge hit with the little ones. Everything was within easy driving distance, making day trips stress-free.All in all, this cottage was the ideal base for a family holiday in Kent. Peaceful, picturesque, and packed with things to do — we’ll definitely be returning.
