We had a lovely holiday in Kent. The location of The Hobbit House was pretty central to the itinerary we had for the week.The property was more than adequately furnished for us. We didn't want to cook big meals after our days out and we found the single hob, mini oven and microwave convenient for our needs.Wye village is a short distance away and we were able to purchase our supplies there.Caroline, our host, was more than happy to answer any of our questions and was on hand if we needed her.Lovely surroundings and private garden.

For 1-3 nights okay. Very clean. But some things need attention, like the creaking showerfloor, the temperature of the shower and the windows (hard to put them open). It is very cosy, but keep in mind that it is really small, especially when it is raining. Then you have no other space. Also the bed and the bedroom are small. It would have been pleasant to have some more and better (kitchen) towels and dishcloths. It was very few and not very useful. I asked for more and received, but actually you don’t want to ask for it. The terrain is a bit unkempt, but I am sensitive for that. 😉In the neighbourhood there is nothing to do, also no stores, but when you keep that in mind it is okay.
