Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped space, the welcoming hosts, and the thoughtful touches like welcome packs. The cottage's location is ideal for exploring the area, with easy access to walks, pubs, and coastal towns. The cosy atmosphere and attention to detail make it a popular choice for repeat visits.
Guests consistently mention the cleanliness of Brew Cottage, describing it as 'very clean and comfortable'. The property's upkeep appears to be of a high standard, contributing to the overall positive experience.
The location of Brew Cottage is frequently highlighted as perfect for visiting Canterbury and coastal parts, with good access to footpaths and a nearby pub. Its peaceful rural setting is also appreciated, although one review mentioned mobile service being spotty at times.
Comfort is a strong point for Brew Cottage, with reviews describing it as 'cosy', 'warm', and 'comfortable'. The presence of a log fire and the provision of a welcome pack add to the comfortable atmosphere. However, a few guests noted low beams as a concern for taller individuals.
Facilities at Brew Cottage are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful amenities. Some reviews suggest minor improvements, such as updating pots and pans and providing more hanging space in the main bedroom.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the welcome packs and the accommodation of dogs' needs. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it is noted that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.
