The Palms is located in a residential area which has good links for lublic transport into the centre of Whitstable, the garden is fully enclosed and with the Palm Trees it is fairly private as well. We had a lovely week

Overall we had a lovely holiday as a family of five. The palms was nice and big and location wise was great as only short car journeys to places we wanted to visit. Unfortunately while we were there work was being carried out in Hazlemere Road so no lie ins for us as workmen were there early and trucks were going up and down from early. We found the decor to be dated and furniture (sofa) in need of updating. Carpet in the en-suite had bleach stains on it and the taps have limescale around them. We just felt there are cosmetic issues that could be fixed to make the rooms feel cleaner. We had a lovely welcome basket which was very much appreciated and enjoyed by us all and the host was easily contactable at all times.

Lovely house, very comfortable for the five of us. We found the beach a very steep 10 minutes walk away. The weather was fantastic so we ate in the garden every evening
