Walmer and Deal castles are also popular attractions. Broadstairs is a short drive with its beach at Viking Bay; for history and culture take a short drive, train or bus into Canterbury. Lovely and cosy for a winter break. Great for dog friendly stays. Compact but everything you need, fantastic location and the log burner was wonderful. Lorraine was very helpful. Would stay again.

Although shorter than we would have liked, we had a great time at Anchor Cottage. This was our second visit and hopefully not our last. Quaint cottage within 2 minutes walk of both the beach and the shops. Lovely Christmas atmosphere in Deal.
