Excellent hosts (Janet and Steve) who made us very welcome and thoroughly spoilt our little schnauzer with a generous welcome pack and soft toy. The accommodation is small, but enough for two and is nicely set-up; the pool is wonderful and well looked after. Lovely place for a relaxing long weekend...we will be back!

We had a great stay at Harve de Calme - we stayed during a heat wave so spent our week in and by the pool. It was perfect. I had planned on visiting Hever Caste which is about 30 minutes away, but I was happy to simply relax by the pool - which is lovely, the cleanliness and temperature is perfect. The accommodation was well thought out, immaculate, but also homely - it worked well for three of us , my adult children came, along with our dog. The recreational/cricket ground is a 2 minute walk up the road and was ideal to walk the dog and we loved hearing cricket being played as we sat by the poolThere is a village shop which sells a good range of items and is a pleasant walk, with supermarkets a 10 minute drive away. The peace and tranquillity were what I liked, it felt like you were far away from the hustle and bustle, although London was within easy reach. The welcome pack was incredibly generous, the thoughtfulness for the items for our dog was very appreciated. . I think our dog would have stayed she had such a good time. The hosts were very welcomingHighly recommend it..
