If you are a dog-owner who likes shopping, Sawmill Cottage is for you! It is located right next to Tunbridge Wells Common for your early morning walkies and also right on the edge of The Pantiles and the other town shop areas. There is also a large Sainsburys a short walk away. The cottage is small but well-appointed, with a kitchen well-stocked with pans and utensils. The lounge and bedroom are both cosy and both have TVs! The garden is "shared" with a business building next door, as is the driveway which might get tight for parking during the week but we were having a long weekend break, so no problems. The garden hedges are not absolutely dog-proof but are sufficient to provide seclusion from the outside world.

This is my home from home. As, I believe, it is to many others. There's a reason so many of us return year after year!Especially perfect for those without a car - train station is literally 5 minutes away, everything you could need is within walking distance and there are a multitude of beautiful walks straight from the doorstep. The only slight niggle is the dog can't be out in the garden unattended as it isn't ENTIRELY enclosed (offices next door kept leaving their gate open and quite a low fence under hedges) but that isn't an issue when there's literally a few steps into the woods behind!

The property was as it always is. Warm, comfy and a super welcome package. A very pleasant break, during a difficult time with the water restrictions.
