The farmhouse was perfect for what we wanted and we all had an excellent stay, the hosts were very helpful and it was a brilliant weekend. It is a beautiful property and very handy for places to visit.Our only criticism is with the notification about the hot tub, looking back at the comments from previous guests the lack of a hot tub has been going on for several months, however we were only told just over a month ago. Admittedly we did get a refund for this inconvenience, but the hot tub had been one of the reasons we had booked it. This should have been removed from the property details on the Cottages.com website so that it is common knowledge to anyone considering it.

Stayed at Greenhill Farmhouse with 6 other girls as we were doing the MacMillan Mighty Hike…so location was really good. Farmhouse was liovely, lots of room, comfy beds, gorgeous garden and grounds to walk round, and very peaceful. The only improvement. I would suggest is maybe some proper tea/coffee, a pint of milk in the fridge and maybe a cake/scones/crisps as a little welcome pack, for the cost of the cottage the Costa style tea/coffee/milk sachets was not what we expected….hot tub was also cancelled within a couple of weeks of our stay so that was a little disappointing too even though we got a partial refund…a soak in a hot tub was one of the reasons we initially booked it after a long walk

Fantastic stay at Greenhill Farmhouse, the team couldn't have been more helpful on arrival and everything we needed in the house was provided. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't available when we arrived but we received a partial refund very quickly. The location was perfect, instructions for everything were super clear and communication was fantastic throughout. The only thing I would say to note is, don't have the heating on at night because the noise from the pipes might keep you awake (or make you think there's a ghost in the room ;-). All round 5 star stay.
