About this property

Nestled in a scenic countryside location overlooking fields of horses, yet just three miles from a beach, is this high-end pod, Filbert Pod. This studio-style open-plan pod is a wonderful choice for couples eager to enjoy the wonders of West Sussex and escape normality for a little while. Enter the property via your own private decking and step into the modest but amply-equipped living space; settle down on the sofa and create a fun-filled itinerary for your trip, before gathering at the dining table and enjoying a home-cooked meal prepared in the kitchen. Why not close the day in your private, outdoor hot tub? De-stress among the bubbles and stargaze in a secluded spot, sitting next to the filbert nut tree and adjacent to a 15th-century, listed dovecote. As night rolls in, tuck yourself up in the double bed to catch your rest, before awakening with a refreshing shower. Admire the idyllic splendour that surrounds the pod with a refreshing beverage on the patio, whilst you contemplate where to visit next. Filbert Pod is a truly inviting home for you and your partner. The owners were really helpful as well as my car battery decided to die! They went out of their way to come out with jump leads etc, thank you so much! Beautiful surroundings. The pod was beautifully clean and lovely little touches, like homemade small jars of Blackberry Gin, Blackberry Vodka and Jam :) Hot tub was really clean and private. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing romantic break. Lydia & Rich :)

It is everything we wanted and more. Beautiful place and the pod was spot on! Extremely comfortable and worth every penny. We have been back a few days and have already Recommended it to friends and family! Unfortunately we did not meet the owners however they messaged us and assured us that if we needed them for anything we can contact them! It was perfect. Thank you Paul & Pauline. Hope to stay again in the near future!

Filbert pod was really lovely with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. There were lots of thoughtful little extras too including a cold bottle of fizz waiting for us. The hot tub was incredible and totally private. We enjoyed walks on the beach and visited local pubs. The spit and sawdust pub in Burnham looks a bit shabby and we weren’t going to bother but glad we did. It was particularly welcoming and we had a lovely hour of playing board games there and chatting with the friendly locals (we didn’t eat there so not sure about the food). We met the lovely Pauline who was very friendly and gave us lots of tips on where to go. Would highly recommend. If I could change one thing, it would be for a more secure fence to make it easier to keep our dog in. She could easily get under the fence and we didn’t want her to bother the horses (although it does state clearly that the fence isn’t completely dog secure it would make for a more relaxing stay). Despite this, we highly recommend and would love to come back one day.
